The European Union's chief of foreign policy claims that in the Gaza conflict, hunger is being used as a weapon.
Josep Borrell described the situation here as a "man-made" crisis due to inadequate aid reaching.
A Spanish ship carrying essential food supplies has set sail for Gaza from Cyprus, but the United Nations says this aid cannot replace assistance sent by road.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that they will now begin ground assaults in southern Gaza.
So far, people from central and northern Gaza have been asked to move to southern Gaza. As a result, a large part of Gaza's population remains near the Rafah border. It has been considered a safe zone so far.
Sending aid by road is the most appropriate way to help Gaza. But aid agencies say that Israel has imposed restrictions on this, meaning that only a very small portion of the aid that can reach is currently doing so.
Currently, aid is being delivered by sea and air routes.
Israel argues that holding it responsible for food shortages in Gaza is not fair because it has opened two routes to deliver aid.
Addressing the United Nations Security Council on Tuesday, Borrell said that the increasing humanitarian crisis in the region is caused by not being able to send aid by road.
He said, "These populations are fighting for their existence. Humanitarian aid should reach Gaza, and the European Union is doing as much as it can to make this possible."
The central government on Tuesday imposed a ban under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act for five years on non-governmental organizations associated with separatist ideology.
The Home Ministry, in an order, immediately declared Jammu and Kashmir National Front (JKNF) as an "unlawful association."
Home Minister Amit Shah wrote on Twitter about the decision, "The Modi government has today declared the Jammu and Kashmir National Front as an unlawful association."
"It has been found that the organization is involved in activities aimed at separating Jammu and Kashmir from India and supporting terrorism, challenging the sovereignty, security, and integrity of the country."
"We are committed to uprooting terrorist forces to ensure the security of the people of India." The order issued by the central government also stated that members of the JKNF "were involved in supporting terrorist activities, gathering people for violent protests in various parts of Kashmir, including stone-pelting on security forces."
